The Jelly Belly Factory in Fairfield, CA offers free factory tours, free samples, and every jelly belly flavor you can think of.

Before the tour starts, you’ll wait in a room that has incredible Jelly Belly artwork of animals, celebrities, fictional characters, past presidents, and more.

On the tour, the guide will give you a brief history of Jelly Belly. Then, you’ll go throughout the factory and see how the Jelly Bellies are made. You’ll get to sample Jelly Bellies at different stages, like before the outer coating is put on. Did you know that many of the Jelly Bellies are flavored with natural flavors like coffee beans, fruit, and cocoa?

After the tour, you can check out the aisles and aisles of flavors. There is a counter where you can try any flavor you want.

Like sausage.


Or rotten egg, grass, dirt or soap.

Or toothpaste, canned dog food, booger, skunk spray or baby wipes.

  1. I liked this post because my hometown is Fairfield (home of the jelly belly factory)! It always cracks me up that you actually pay more per pound for jelly bellies at the factory than at the grocery stores down the road. I'm surprised you didn't like the brownie sundae, I love it, although it has been a while since I've had it and perhaps my palate has been more refined since then. Glad you had fun in Norcal, I love it!

  2. I bet it was so fun growing up there! It's so beautiful, I seriously was loving it! The sundae was kind of melted when we got it, so that was the main reason we didn't like it, the ice cream was in a puddle! But the brownie was good. And next time I'll remember to go to the store down the street. Haha!
